Pass Stround School on LH bend and turn right at point 3. Turn left and then climb, turning right at Hunters Inn. Continue on very short cycle track at the end and then bear right to head north. Pass the Dog & Crook PH and then turn left into Kiln Lane (point 5). Bear right at point 7 and bear left at point 7.

Pass the old church at point 8 and turn left at point 9 and continue to the church in King’s Somborne (point 10). Turn left and follow the A3057 south for a short while before bearing right at point 11. Turn right at the next junction to pass the John o’Gaunt pub and the right and continue across the river test and the Test Way. Turn right at point 12 (signed “Houghton Lodge Gardens”)and head north through Houghton. In approximately 3km, you may find that Daisy’s Tearooms at Houghton Lodge Gardens may be open and is well recommended.
